The Chief Personnel Officer (CPO), Commander Dr. Daryl Dindial, honored the commitment included in the recently signed Memoranda of Agreements (MoAs) with the Police and Prison Service to offer sensitisation training on Grievance Procedures and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Commander Dindial revealed that the training was a direct outcome of several meetings that were conducted between the CPO’s Office, the Prison Officers Association of Trinidad and Tobago (POAOTT)

November 16th, 2022 – On November 15th, 2022 the Chief Personnel Officer (CPO) Commander Dr. Daryl Dindial, signed Memoranda of Agreements (MoA) with the Associations representing the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) and the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service, on the establishment of formal Grievance Procedures for their Officers on November 15th, 2022 at the Offices of the Personnel Department.

Pension and Leave

The Personnel Department in collaboration with the Comptroller of Accounts, Ministry of Finance, and the Auditor General of Trinidad and Tobago hosted a three (3) day interactive workshop on June 27, July 28 & 29 virtually - via Microsoft Teams that exclusively focused on improving the processing of Pension benefits for retired Public Officers.

Meeting with Prisons

On February 11th 2022 the Chief Personnel Officer, Commander Dr. Daryl Dindial met with senior officials of the Trinidad and Tobago Prison Service to commence discussions on a new Job Evaluation Exercise for the Prison Service. This meeting was subsequent to the last review of the Prison service Classification and Compensation system which was implemented in the early 2000s.
